EDUCATIONAL MISSION

 

To address the educational backwardness of our country, in the interior villages, mission has undertaken the educational drive to bring the children of backward villages in to mainstream of educational field. Focusing on this, the mission has started schools to provide value based quality education.

It is a matter of gratification that our educational institutions viz. Christian College of Engineering & Technology, Bhilai, St. Thomas College as well as the 11 schools under St.Thomas Mission has achieved commendable progress. After the handing over of 3 schools to Ahmadabad Diocese now we are left with 7 Higher Secondary schools, 2 High School and 2 Nursery schools. Apart from this, Diocese of Calcutta runs with 5 Higher Secondary schools, 2 High School, 2 Upper primary and 2 Nursery schools. About 28000  students are studying in our various educational institutions (including those under Diocese of Calcutta) and are taken care by 1470 staff.

Fee Concession

Unlike many other private schools and colleges, the educational institutions of Bhilai Mission and Diocese of Calcutta are run for the pure cause of education and not for profit making. Eligible students are given full or part concession in fee.

It is worthy to note that all the inmates of St.Paul’s Balagram Itarsi, from the inception, are studying in our M.G.M. H.S.School, Itarsi and all of them are given full fee concession. In the report year Rs………./- was given as fee concession to students from St.Paul’s Balagram Itarsi.
